
Chicken Tikka Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless chicken breast cut them in cubes
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 bell pepper chopped
- 1 green chili sliced
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/3 cup yogurt
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 lb Pasta boil and set 1/2 cup of pasta water aside
- 1 lump of coal burnt
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in cumin powder, chili powder, garam masala, turmeric, salt, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, and smoke with a lump of coal.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry onions on medium heat, add tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Mix in the chicken and cook on high heat until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Add green chili and bell peppers, cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and pasta water, simmer on low heat for 4 minutes.
- Mix in the boiled pasta and sprinkle red chili flakes.
