Beef Chili Dry

My easy version of this Indo-Chinese dish
Course: lunch

Ingredients
  

  • 4 pounds beef tenderloin cut it in strips
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp Chicken bouillon powder
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp corn flour
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 chopped green chili
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp vinegar
  • 2/4 cup water or stock
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 medium-sized onion sliced
  • 1 sliced green bell pepper
  • 1 sliced red bell pepper
  • green onions as needed

Method
 

  1. Marinate beef garlic, black pepper, white pepper, sugar, bouillon powder, soy sauce, vinegar, corn flour, and all-purpose flour for 20 minutes.
  2. In a pan, heat oil and fry green chilies for 2 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Add the meat, onions and bell peppers. Cook for at least 15 minutes or until the meat is fully cooked.
  4. Add water and cook on low heat for 4 minutes.
  5. Top with sesame oil, green onions and enjoy!
