
Beef Chili Dry
My easy version of this Indo-Chinese dish
Ingredients
- 4 pounds beef tenderloin cut it in strips
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp white pepper
- 1/2 tbsp Chicken bouillon powder
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp crushed garlic
- 1/2 tbsp corn flour
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 chopped green chili
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 2/4 cup water or stock
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 medium-sized onion sliced
- 1 sliced green bell pepper
- 1 sliced red bell pepper
- green onions as needed
Instructions
- Marinate beef garlic, black pepper, white pepper, sugar, bouillon powder, soy sauce, vinegar, corn flour, and all-purpose flour for 20 minutes.
- In a pan, heat oil and fry green chilies for 2 minutes on medium heat.
- Add the meat, onions and bell peppers. Cook for at least 15 minutes or until the meat is fully cooked.
- Add water and cook on low heat for 4 minutes.
- Top with sesame oil, green onions and enjoy!
