Butter Chicken Noodles

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound boneless chicken breast cut in cubes
  • 16 oz pasta noodles
  • 1/2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp red chili flakes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste
  • 2 sliced shallots
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • dried parsley as needed

Method
 

  1. Boil the pasta noodles and set aside 1/4 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a pan heat oil and butter and add shallots, chicken, salt, turmeric, black pepper, garam masala, cumin, and red chili powder. Cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Add tomato paste and stir.
  4. Mix in the pasta water and heavy cream and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the boiled noodles, red chili flakes, parsley and mix.
