Chicken Shawarma

My lazy version of shawarma that takes less than 30 minutes to make
Course lunch
Servings 4

Ingredients
  

For the chicken

  • 4 Boneless Chicken Thigh cut them in cubes
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Lump of coal burnt

For Shawarma

  • 4 Pita Bread
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Cucumber
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Onions
  • 4 tbsp Hummus
  • 5 ounces Fries about 1 small plate

Instructions
 

For Chicken

  • In a pan heat oil and add chicken, add all the spices above including ginger and garlic paste and cook for 15 minutes on medium heat or until the chicken is fully cooked. Remove from heat and add mayonnaise. Give it a smoke with the burnt coal and cover.

For Assembling

  • Microwave Pita bread for 30 seconds and spread a tbsp of Hummus on each pita bread. Add the cooked chicken and top with tomato, onion, cucumber, fries and enjoy!
