Chicken Shawarma

Ingredients
  

For the chicken

  • 1 pound boneless chicken breast
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp white pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chili or hot sauce
  • 1 cup yogurt

For the sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup yogurt
  • 1/4 cup tahini paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

For assembling

  • pita bread as needed
  • pickled cucumbers and onions as needed
  • fries as needed

Instructions
 

  • Marinate chicken in all the ingredients mentioned above for 20 minutes and then cook in 2 tbsp of oil.
  • Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and set aside.
  • Microwave the pita bread for 20 seconds so it does not break while rolling.
  • Add the sauce, chicken, fries, pickled onions and cucumbers to the pita bread and roll.
