Crispy Zinger Burger

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:

  • 4 pound boneless chicken thigh fillets
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 3 eggs

For the flour mixture:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup corn flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1/2 tbsp cayenne
  • 1 tbsp Chicken bouillon powder

For Assembling:

  • burger buns as needed
  • iceberg lettuce as needed
  • thousand island dressing
  • American cheese

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken with all the ingredients above and let it sit in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight.
  • Combine all the ingredients for the flour mixture in a bowl and add 1 tbsp of buttermilk mixture from the chicken.
  • Coat the chicken fillet in the flour one by one and deep fry until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Toast the burger buns, spread the sauce of your choice, place the fried fillet on top, add cheese and lettuce and enjoy!
