Yogurt Smoked Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 Chicken Leg Quarters
- 1/2 cup low-fat yogurt
- 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
- 1 tsp onion paste
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 crushed green chili
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 lump of coal
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in all the spices and yogurt for 20 minutes.
- In a nonstick cooking pan, add frozen vegetables and place the marinated chicken on top.
- Burn on a coal, add it to a small foil and place it on the top of the chicken. Add a few drops of oil to the coal and cover it with a lid for 5 minutes and remove it.
- Cook on low to medium heat for 25 minutes, add 2-3 tbsp water to make steam.
