Chicken with mushroom sauce

Ingredients
  

For the chicken

  • 1 chicken breast cut 4 thin fillets
  • 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

For the mushroom sauce

  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1/2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Marinate chicken with all the spices for 10-15 minutes and shallow fry in a pan. Set aside once it's fully cooked.
  • For the sauce heat oil in a pan and fry mushrooms on medium heat until the water is dried out.
  • Mix in the butter and flour. Add chicken stock, heavy cream, salt, pepper and let it simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Serve the chicken with mushroom sauce and enjoy.
