Chicken with mushroom sauce

Ingredients
  

For the chicken
  • 1 chicken breast cut 4 thin fillets
  • 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
For the mushroom sauce
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1/2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Marinate chicken with all the spices for 10-15 minutes and shallow fry in a pan. Set aside once it's fully cooked.
  2. For the sauce heat oil in a pan and fry mushrooms on medium heat until the water is dried out.
  3. Mix in the butter and flour. Add chicken stock, heavy cream, salt, pepper and let it simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve the chicken with mushroom sauce and enjoy.
