
Chicken with mushroom sauce
Ingredients
For the chicken
- 1 chicken breast cut 4 thin fillets
- 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
For the mushroom sauce
- 1 cup mushrooms
- 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with all the spices for 10-15 minutes and shallow fry in a pan. Set aside once it's fully cooked.
- For the sauce heat oil in a pan and fry mushrooms on medium heat until the water is dried out.
- Mix in the butter and flour. Add chicken stock, heavy cream, salt, pepper and let it simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
- Serve the chicken with mushroom sauce and enjoy.
