Chicken Leg Rice Bowl

Airfried chicken with cumin turmeric rice

Ingredients
  

For Chicken:
  • 8 Chicken Drumsticks
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
For Yogurt Sauce:
  • 1/2 Cup Yogurt
  • 1 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Fresh Dill
For Salad:
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Cucumbers
  • 1/3 cup Chopped Onions
  • 1 Chopped Green Chili
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Lettuce
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Basil
For Rice
  • 2 cups Rice
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Chicken Bouillon Cube
  • 3 cups Water

Method
 

  1. Season chicken in the spices above and airfry at 400 for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix the ingredients for the yogurt sauce.
  3. Mix the ingredients for the salad.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, fry cumin seeds and turmeric for 2 minutes. Add rice and mix. Add water and the chicken cube, boil until the water has completely dried. Cover the pan with the lid and steam on low heat for 2 minutes.
  5. Add rice to a bowl, top with chicken salad, yogurt sauce and enjoy!
