Make 3 slits on each chicken leg quarter so the chicken gets marinated all the way through.
Marinate chicken in all the ingredients mentioned above for 1-2 hours or overnight.
Burn a small lump of coal and put it in a small dish or foil and place it over the marinated chicken. Pour 1 tsp of oil over the coal to release smoke and cover with the lid for 15 minutes. (This will give the chicken a smoky taste)
Place the marinated chicken in an airfryer or baking oven and cook at 380F for 35 minutes.
Serve with Naan or Rice and enjoy!
