Marinate chicken in red chili powder, cumin powder, turmeric, salt and lemon juice.
In a pan add 1/2 cup of oil and fry onions until they are translucent and add ginger and garlic paste. Add chicken, yogurt and garam masala. Cook on medium heat until the chicken is done. Smoke the chicken with the coal and cover.
Parboil the rice in boiling water for 4 minutes and drain.
Layer the rice in a pan and add the chicken tikka mixture.
Sprinkle fried onions, green chilies and mint. Cover and steam the rice on medium heat for 5 minutes and enjoy.
